Music from ‘Back in The Day’
If you grew up in the magical age of the late 60’s and 70’s when it was cool to be cool, then this is the channel for you. The album music you grew up with and learned to love is here round the clock to let you relive those great days. But as the music never dies it just gets added to, we include later tracks from those classic artists and the classic artists who came later.
We play the classic album tracks and artists from the last six decades or so. The bulk of our playlist is from the late 60’s and 70’s and as many of those artists have continued to produce great music into this century, we include those great tracks as well. Each decade has produced its own classic artists and tracks some more than others and we include those too.
Style wise we are probably on the lighter side of the classic rock genre, as we include some of the great west coast music, new wave and progressive. Essentially we encapsulate the journey of rock in its many forms from about the mid sixties through the 70s, 80s and 90’s etc. ranging from the Byrds to Pink Floyd.
